Better Communication with the POA
Working together for the good of every Linn Valley resident
Why This Matters
In Linn Valley, the City and the Property Owners Association (POA) each have different roles — but they affect many of the same people. When those two entities don’t coordinate, it leads to confusion, inefficiency, and missed opportunities to serve residents well.
My Plan to Improve Collaboration
- Regular Coordination Meetings: I will continue the scheduled discussions between city officials and POA leadership to proactively share updates and concerns.
- Resident-Focused Communication: We’ll work to issue joint updates for major topics that affect both city governance and POA regulations — so residents don’t have to piece things together from separate sources.
- Shared Calendar and Notices: Promote a unified community calendar and event postings to help connect residents, no matter where the message originates.
- Respect for Roles: My goal is not to merge or interfere — it’s to create a respectful channel of communication that makes life easier for everyone who lives, visits, or owns property here.
Shared Goal: A Stronger Community
We are all in this together. When the City and POA communicate clearly and respectfully, it benefits every homeowner, every part-time visitor, and every future resident. That’s the kind of leadership I intend to bring to city hall.
