Community First Fund
A pledge to serve Linn Valley residents in times of need
My Commitment
Public service should be about giving back — not collecting a paycheck. If elected, I will donate 100% of my mayoral salary — after taxes — to establish the Community First Fund, a local initiative dedicated to supporting Linn Valley residents in times of hardship.
Purpose of the Fund
The Community First Fund will assist with:
- Emergency utility support
- Food insecurity relief
- Minor home repairs and safety needs
- Transportation for elderly and disabled residents
How It Will Work
The fund will be administered by a neutral, community-trusted nonprofit or fiscal sponsor. I will not be involved in deciding who receives support. A volunteer advisory committee may help review applications and ensure transparency and fairness.
Transparency
Regular public updates will be shared, including how much was donated, how much was distributed, and how the fund is making an impact in our community.
